How do I ship with DPD?
Shipping with DPD: Quick and Easy Steps

List Your Item:  When listing your item you can select DPD as your preferred shipping carrier during the shipping options setup. Simply choose DPD from the list of available carriers. The carrier option will only display if your item is within the weight and size limit for DPD services. You must enter both the weight and measurements of the parcel so DPD can correctly calculate the service.
*DPD shipping services are only avaiblable to UK Account holders.Â

Print Your Label: Once your item is purchased we will email you a shipping label for you to print out and attach to your package. You must ensure the barcode is visable.Â

Package Securely:Â Ensure your items are securely packaged to withstand transportation. Use sturdy boxes and appropriate padding materials. For fragile items, consider using bubble wrap or packing peanuts. Make sure the package is properly sealed and labeled. Check out DPD's Packing Tips here.
Multiple Items: If you receive an order with multiple items, you'll get a single shipping label for the entire order. Please ensure all items are packaged together in one box that meets DPD's size requirements.

Find a DPD Parcel Point: Locate your nearest DPD Parcel Shop here: https://pickup.dpd.co.uk. Packages up to 20kg, 100cm in length, and 230cm in girth can be dropped off at a DPD Parcel Shop locations. If your package exceeds these dimensions, it must be dropped off at a DPD Depot.Â

Drop Off Your Package: Take your package to the drop off location. The attendant will scan your package and you will receive a receipt which will enable you to track the status of your shipment, as well as give the information to your buyer.Â

How Do I Track My Parcel?
There are 2 ways to track your parcel.Â
1. The Carrier Website:Â You can track your parcel directly through DPD Track Your Parcel.
2. On ifndautoparts:Â We will automatically link your tracking number to your order profile.Â

2. On Desktop Select 'My Account'. On App Select 'Menu'.
3. Select 'Sold Items'.
4. Select 'View Details'.
5. Select the 'Tracking Number' to be directed to the carriers site to check the status of the shipment.

What if I have an issue with the Carrier?
1. Contact the Carrier: If you encounter any issues with your DPD shipment, such as delays or damage, you can contact DPD customer service directly. Provide them with your tracking number and details of the issue. You can head to their Help Centre, https://www.dpdlocal-online.co.uk/help-centre, or call them on 0121 275 0500 (Mon-Fri:8am-6:30pm Sat: 8am-4pm, Sun: 9am-3pm).
2. Contact Easy Ship: If the carrier is unabel to assit, you can also contact Easy Ship directly. Easy Ship will help faciliitate any queries with shipping providers.support@easyship.com.

What are the measurement and weight restrictions for using DPD Services?
Package dimensions cannot exceed 25kg in weight, 175cm in length, with a maximum girth of 245cm for Domestic Shipments. For International Shipments dimensions cannot exceed 30kg in weight, 175cm in length, with a maximum girth of 300cm.
Packages up to 20kg, 100cm in length, and 230cm in girth can be dropped off at a DPD Parcel Shop locations. If your package exceeds these dimensions, it must be dropped off at a DPD Depot. Ensure to check drop-off locations via the DPD website using their store locator for parcel shop finder here and depot finder here.
To measure girth, use this formula: (Height + Width) × 2 + Length. Detailed instructions are available on the DPD website here.

How do you measure a package?

Where Can I Get Packaging to Ship My Item?
You do not need to use any branded boxes or bags to ship an item with DPD. However, it is crucial to choose safe and sturdy boxes that can support the weight and size of your items. You can reuse old boxes you have at home or purchase new ones. Suitable packaging materials can be bought from various sources, including local post offices, stationery stores, or online retailers. Ensure that the packaging meets the guidelines provided by DPD for safe and secure shipping.

Are there Shipping Restrictions with DPD or Prohibited Items?
Items prohibited for shipment by DPD include, but are not necessarily limited to, dangerous goods, tobacco, high-value jewelry, cash equivalents, personal data, precious metals, alcohols, living organisms, perishables, pharmaceuticals, non-excepted batteries, and any goods restricted or outlawed by the local governing bodies. All ifndautoparts sellers must adhere to the rules and regulations set by DPD.

What do I do if I don't have a printer for the label?
If you do not have a printer, you may go to your selected drop-off location and show your label with the barcode, this will be scanned in by the store clerk and they are able to print the label for you.

Shipping labels will be processed via email, your shipping label will be attached via an email from ifndautoparts.Â

Do DPD require any special paperwork for shipping dangerous goods?
At this stage sellers are not able to ship items/listings considered Dangerous Goods via DPD.

DPD Service Options
There are 6 service options available for Sellers to select from.
1. Air Classic:Â Is an international delivery service offered by DPD. It is designed for non-time sensitive shipments that still require full tracking. This service provides a reliable and cost-effective way to send parcels internationally with comprehensive tracking throughout the delivery process. It's ideal for shipments that do not have urgent delivery requirements but still need to be monitored during transit.
2. Classic Parcel:Â This service offers domestic deliveries within 1-2 working days and international deliveries across Europe within 1-4 working days.
3. Next Day: For urgent shipments across the UK, arriving in 1-2 business days.
4. Classic Express pak: Is a flexible option designed for smaller, lighter parcels. It offers fast delivery times similar to the Classic Parcel service but is typically used for documents and small items designed for international and domestic shipments.
5. Express pak Next Day: For urgent, time-sensitive shipments and is a flexible option designed for smaller, lighter parcels. It offers fast delivery times similar to the Classic Parcel service but is typically used for documents and small items designed for domestic shipments.
6. Parcel:Â DPD Parcel is a versatile service that handles a wide range of parcel sizes and weights. Provides comprehensive tracking, delivery notifications, and flexible delivery options, including time-specific deliveries for both international and domestic shipments.
