What is Make an Offer?

Depending on the Sellers preferences, You will be able to purchase items in one of three ways on the ifndautoparts platform: 

1. Fixed Price (with Make an Offer)

2. Fixed Price

3. Auction

The Make an Offer feature allows you to negotiate the price directly with the seller. This feature is only available if you have an account and are signed in.

When you find an item you're interested in, instead of purchasing it right away, you can Make an Offer for the item/s. The seller can choose to accept, reject, or counter your offer. It's a great way to potentially get a better deal on the parts you need or make a fair offer that suits your budget.

 

How to Make an Offer

On Desktop

1. Sign In to your account.

2. Select the Listing you are interested in.

3. Select the Make an Offer* button (*If this button is not visible,it means that the seller does not offer this option).

4. Enter your proposed price and quantity.

5. Select the Submit button.

6. The seller will receive a notification that your offer has been submitted. They have 24hrs to accept, decline or counter your offer. If they do not take any action within the 24 hour period, the offer will automatically Expire/Decline. You also have the option to Revoke your offer.

 

On App

1. Sign In to your account.

2. Select the Listing you are interested in. 

3. Select the Make an Offer* button (*If this button is not visible,it means that the seller does not offer this option).

4. Enter your proposed price and quantity.

5. Select the Submit button.

6. The seller will receive a notification that your offer has been submitted. They have 24hrs to accept, decline or counter your offer. If they do not take any action within the 24 hour period, the offer will automatically Expire/Decline. You also have the option to Revoke your offer.

 

Note: Offers and counter offers can only be made a maximum of 5 times. 

Tip: If the seller does not have Make an Offer as an option send them a message to see if they would be open to an offer.

 

How to see my offers?

On Desktop

1. Log into your account.

2. Select “My Account” in the top navigation bar. 

3. Select “My Offers”.

4. Scroll to the item you have bidded on and select Show offers. 

5. You will see all your offers on the listing. 

On App

1. Log into your account.

2. Select “Menu” in the bottom navigation bar. 

3. Select “My Offers”.

4. Scroll to the item you have bidded on and select Show offers. 

5. You will see all your offers on the listing. 

 

How to Revoke my offer

On Desktop

1. Log into your account.

2. Select “My Account” in the top navigation bar. 

3. Select “My Offers” in the drop down.

4. Scroll to the item you have bidded on and select Show offers. 

5. Select the “Revoke” icon button 

6. Select the “Confirm” button in the pop up box to revoke your offer.

7. The offer will no longer be visible and available for the seller.

 

On App

1. Log into your account.

2. Select “Menu” in the bottom navigation bar. 

3. Select “My Offers” in the drop down.

4. Scroll to the item you have bidded on and select Show offers. 

5. Select the “Revoke” icon button
