How Do I Buy an Item?

Buying an item on ifndautoparts is easy ! 

You can buy on the platform by either: 

• Creating an Account, 
• Or Guest Checkout (See out guest checkout page here for how to buy on guest checkout) 

Depending on the Sellers preferences, You will be able to purchase items in one of three ways on the ifndautoparts platform, if you have an account: 

1. Fixed Price: Make an instant purchase at a Fixed Price

2. Make an Offer: Make an Offer on a Fixed Price listing, or

3. Auction: Participate in Auction-Style Bidding 

 

Heres how you can start buying: 

1. Search for the item you are looking for. Checkout our help page for how to search for an item. 
2. Click on the Listing of interest to view the item
3. The Item Page provides Various Information, including, Location, Price / Auction / Offers (as per sellers preference), Quantity available (if more than one), Condition, Type and Warranty, Shipping & Returns and Payment information
4. Expand information by clicking on the arrows next to each heading
5. If you would like to purchase the item, you can either: (based on the sellers preferences): 
   • Add the Item to Your Cart 
   • Make an Offer, or 
   • Place a Bid 
6. Once the item is secured by either of the above methods, the item will automatically apply to your cart. A green dot displays next to the Trolley/Cart icon in the menu bar to show that there is an item there. Click the Trolley/Cart Icon to start the checkout process
7.  Each item that is from a different seller will appear on a different order Card in your cart. Each order is processed as a separate transaction. 
8. Depending on the sellers shipping preferences, you will see that the item is offered for either Shipping (delivery) or Click and Collect. In cases where the seller offers both options, you simply select which you would prefer. 
9. If applicable, choose your quantity
10. Click the Proceed to Checkout button
11. Enter your Contact Information
12. If item is being:
    • Shipped, enter the delivery address or select an address from the dropdown menu (saved in your profile); and select the shipping Rate on each order card. Then Click the Proceed to Payment Button
    • For click and collect, simply click the Proceed to Payment button. 
13. Enter your payment details (options depend on the seller's preferences)
14. Click the Pay button
15. If there is only One Order, A notification will confirm a successful transaction, and a Confirmation will display on the screen. If there are multiple Orders (multiple sellers items in your cart), you will be taken back to the Checkout Page to complete the reamining order cards. 
16. Once all orders have been processed, you will receive an email confirmation for each order. You will also be able to see orders within your Account.
