Our Epic UK Tour: JapFest, Petrolhedonism Underground & The Restoration Show!

What a ride it's been these past few weeks! The ifndautoparts team has been hitting the road, showcasing our platform at some of the UK's most exciting automotive events. We’ve met some amazing people from every corner of car culture, from classic lovers to JDM die-hards. And what a ride it’s been! Let's take a look back at our amazing journey!

Our Grand Debut at Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show

Nearly four years of development, and we finally made our public debut at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show at the NEC from March 20-22!

The reception was absolutely incredible. We were blown away by the constant interest and enthusiasm from both individual enthusiasts and car clubs. A massive thank you to the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) for hosting us on their stand throughout the weekend – it gave us the perfect platform to connect with fellow enthusiasts, club members, and passionate restorers.

The highlight? Being featured on Paddock Speedshop's TV Show as they searched our platform for parts needed for their Porsche 944 restoration—and found exactly what they were looking for! Seeing the platform being used in real-time on a restoration project was the perfect validation of what we've been building.

We had brilliant conversations about making it easier to find, sell, and swap car parts—whether it's a rare classic component or something for your daily driver. Car clubs, enthusiasts, and businesses all loved our streamlined approach to buying and selling car parts—no listing fees, no unrelated clutter, just pure car parts.

This show truly felt like coming home. The restoration community's passion for preserving automotive history perfectly aligns with our mission, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to introduce ifndautoparts to the world.

Flash Cars and Full-On App Action at Petrolhedonism Underground

Next up was Petrolhedonism Underground 2025 at Wembley Park on March 29. What. A. Weekend!

The atmosphere was electric, and the crowd was incredible - exactly the kind of passionate automotive enthusiasts we love connecting with.

Our stand was a hub of activity with our ambassador Dan Tetlow showcasing his stunning Skyline R34, sitting proudly alongside a gorgeous Ferrari Spider 458. Both cars drew massive attention and made for an impressive display that really captured what ifndautoparts is all about - connecting passionate car people across all makes and models.

The highlight had to be our Batak Machine Challenge! We had people lining up to test their reactions, and it was brilliant watching the competitive spirit come out. Even better was seeing how many new visitors it drove to our website and app downloads. Nothing like a bit of friendly competition to get people engaging with the platform!

The entire weekend was filled with great conversations, lots of laughs, and some serious energy from everyone who stopped by. The underground setting at Wembley created this amazing atmosphere that perfectly matched the passion and excitement around what we're building.

JapFest at Silverstone - We Brought the Parts and the Party!

Our final stop was JapFest at Silverstone on April 13, and we wanted to do something different. Rather than just tell people about the app, we wanted to show them how easy it is to use.

So we laid it out, literally! We created floor decals leading attendees step-by-step through the ifndautoparts process:

2. 👉 Create an account 
3. 👉 List your part (with options like Buy Now, Auction, or Make an Offer) 
4. 👉 Choose shipping or collection
5. 👉 Done.

Because it really is that simple. Whether you're clearing out your garage or selling professionally, our goal has always been to make listing parts easy and fast.

Massive thanks to Kieron Salmons from Allen Signs for getting these decals made for us. And while our team may not have applied them entirely straight (😂), they still did the job;  and we loved seeing people walk through them, literally and figuratively.

We were lucky enough to have a 3-car garage space and the goal was simple: create an experience, not just a stand. Something people could actually use, explore, and have fun with.

With some creative thinking (and a bit of chaos), the team pulled together something really special. DJ Paul brought the vibes. The Batak game made a comeback. We even added a JDM-themed Roll & Bowl for a bit of family fun.

We had five amazing cars on show: the absolute icon that is the red AZ1, a 370Z in full Veilside glory, Scoot's GT86, a gorgeous R33 Skyline, and a Nissan Micra K11. Huge thanks to the owners who brought them in.

Honestly, none of us expected the level of attention and love the ifndautoparts stand received. The energy was through the roof!

What We've Learned

These events have reinforced what we've always believed: that for car enthusiasts, it's always been about more than just selling parts. ifndautoparts was built to be a community, one that doesn't take itself too seriously, that celebrates builds of every kind, and that helps get parts back into circulation and cars back on the road.

Whether you sell through us or elsewhere, we're just here to keep the industry moving and make it fun again.

We've seen businesses sign up for their own virtual shopfronts and watched enthusiasts immediately find parts they've been searching for months. This tour has been an unforgettable experience that's only strengthened our commitment to the automotive community.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us, shared their stories, and got involved. This is just the beginning of how we're changing the way parts are bought and sold in the automotive world.
