Mark admired the transparent sun visors fitted to the Jaguar XK150. However, when looking for a similar visor for his own Jaguar XK120, he quickly discovered that nobody manufactured one.

Rather than settle for going without, he decided to make his own.

The first visor was completely handmade.

To help cover the costs, he produced a few extra sets for fellow enthusiasts and quickly discovered there was genuine demand for the product.

What started as a personal project soon became something much bigger.

 

From Handmade Prototype to Production

During the pandemic, Mark explored producing the visors commercially.

While interest was strong, the manufacturing process proved incredibly time-consuming. Each visor was largely handmade, making large-scale production difficult.

Rather than compromise on quality, Mark paused the project while he developed a more efficient manufacturing process.

Today, each visor begins as a computer-generated cutting file. Custom tooling is used to form the hinge section before the visor is assembled and finished.

The result is a high-quality transparent visor designed specifically for classic and vintage vehicles.
