How do I report a user?

If you encounter a user not adhering to our community standards or engaging in unsuitable behavior, consider reporting them. While we encourage reports to help us monitor platform activity, please understand that our ability to individually investigate each report is limited, and we cannot guarantee an investigation into every report received.

 

Steps to Report a User:

  1. Log into your ifndautoparts account.

  2. Navigate to the users profile. You can get to the user profile 2 ways.

a) Select a listing from the seller you want to report and  select their name under the item image to navigate to their profile.

b) If you have been messaging the seller you can select their name from the messages to get to their profile.

 

Once you are on the user's profile, select the "Reviews" tab. It is located next to the product tab.

  1. At the bottom of the reviews page select the text "Report a User". 

  2. A pop-up box will appear, presenting you with a list of reasons for reporting the user. Carefully review the available options and select the one that best describes the violation.

  3. In the text box provide further details about the incident. Use this space to provide specific information, such as the date, time, and any relevant conversations or interactions you had with the user. The more details you can provide, the better we can assess the situation.

  4. Submit the Report:  After selecting the appropriate reason and providing any additional details, sleect the "Submit" button. 

 

In some cases, we may reach out to you for additional information or clarification. If you receive such a request, promptly respond to their inquiries to assist.
