How do I set up my returns rules?
It is essential to have clear return policies in place, this ensures that important information is communicated to your buyers, such as eligible items for returns or exchanges in your shop and the specific time frame during which you accept returns and exchanges.
You have the flexibility to set different return and exchange policies for each individual listing when you create the listing. Alternatively, you can establish a default policy that applies to all your new listings.
Setting up default return rules:
On Desktop

Sign in to your ifndautoparts account.

Select My Account in the top navigation bar.

Select Shipping & Return Rules in the drop down menu.

Go to the My Return Policy Section.

If you accept returns on your items, click the toggle next to I accept Returns.

Select the Returns Paid By box and from the drop-down menu, select if the Buyer or Seller will be responsible to pay for the return.

Select the Returns Must Be Initiated Within box, and choose the applicable. timeframe from the drop-down menu. You can select 7, 14, 21, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days.

Go to the Return Rules box and enter your returns rules information.

Select the Returns Address that buyers will need to return the item to. You can select from any of the Saved Addresses in your profile or Type a new address into the system.

Select the Save Changes button.
On App

Open the App and Sign in to Your ifndautoparts Account.

Select Menu in the bottom navigation bar.

Select Shipping & Return Rules from the list.

If you accept returns on your items, Under the My Returns Heading, select the toggle next to I accept Returns.

Click the Returns Paid By box and from the drop-down menu, select if the Buyer or Seller will be responsible to pay for the return.

Select the Returns Must Be Initiated Within box, and choose the applicable timeframe from the drop-down menu. You can select 7, 14, 21, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days.

In the Return Rules box, enter any specific rules around your returns.

Select the Return Address that buyers will need to return the item to. You can select from any of the Saved Addresses in your profile or Type a new address into the system.

Select the Save Changes button.
Your default returns rules will now be visible when creating a new listing. This will not change the returns policy on existings listings and they will need to be manually changed within the existing listing.
Return Timeframes:
The returns timeframes available for selection do not override any legal or consumer compliances you may need to adhere to.
