What is Trade Pricing and How Does It Work?
We’re excited to introduce a unique feature that sets us apart from other marketplaces: trade pricing exclusively for business accounts. This feature allows business sellers to offer special trade pricing to verified business account holders on our platform. All business accounts are verified by our customer service team to ensure authenticity.
How Trade Pricing Works:
-
Business Sellers:
- On the inventory page, business sellers can set trade pricing that will apply to all listings. Sellers can also edit the trade pricing at any time, setting it as a percentage discount off the total price.
- Trade pricing can also be managed individually for each listing. Only business sellers can offer trade pricing. Individual account holders cannot offer official trade pricing on the platform.
-
Guest/Personal Accounts View of Listings: On the listing page, users will see the retail price along with the trade pricing icon. Hovering over the icon will display information about trade pricing being available for business customers. Only business account holders can see the trade pricing.
-
Business Accounts View of Listings:
- On the search page, business users will see the trade price highlighted in green along with the trade price icon.
- On the listing page, business users will see both the trade price and the retail price for comparison.
