Created exclusively for the RV8, this 'as new condition' gear-knob in Elm burr was one of a very small batch produced by Stuart Middlemiss, following the death of fellow RV8 enthusiast Terry Starkey, who made the original, limited run of knobs which were snapped up by owners worldwide. In making the new batches, Stuart gradually found that the scarcity of burr elm of a high enough quality, meant that very few were actually made in the end and production ceased many years ago. 
The knob is of very high quality and in ‘as new’ condition. It looks superb and its shape and dimensions fit the hand far more naturally than the OEM item. So for the decerning RV8 owner out there, here is the opportunity to not only own a beautiful adornment to your ‘pride and joy, but also a piece of RV8 history.
